The InDesign CS6 8.0.1 is stuck in the Adobe Application Manager even though it updated InDesign to 8.0.1 it still says I have an update and gives me the error code message:

UweAfter installing and updating exchange manager 6.0.2.40 when I go to indesign exchange panel it says update is available, click that, it downloads and says update successful, restart indesign to take effect. When it installs it switches to extension manager and says update conflicts with other version install yes or no? Click yes, says succesfull and restart indesign, I restart indesign and same thing happens again and again.
Photoshop and illustrator (CS6) panels work just fine. It's indesign that doesnt work.

One behind the scenes thing going on is that all the Adobe applications have been moving to 64-bit, and support for Cocoa APIs on the Macintosh is becoming required. Essentially this means that ALL the code of the Macintosh applications must be rewritten. This has happened for Photoshop and Illustrator, but it's being completed for InDesign. This takes a tremendous number of engineer hours to accomplish.Can anyone guide me on how to resolve this error code: U44M1P7?

MyleniumI'm trying to use the Folio Builder in InDesign CS6 but when I access the panel it says updates are required. I went to Help>Updates and it says : 'The update server is not responding. The server might be offline temporarily, or the Internet or firewall settings may be incorrect.' It's been doing this with all my Adobe programs for about a month. I've downloaded the 4 updates off the Adobe site manually for InDesign CS6 and still nothing has changed. I don't know what to change in the Internet/firewall settings or why I even have to. Also I did not download the actual programs off the Adobe site, I purchased a box set at a local store.

Because of the way InDesign documents are versioned, it's not possible to open them directly in earlier versions of InDesign, InCopy or InDesign Server. For example, a document created in InDesign 2015 cannot be directly opened in InDesign 2014 or CS6.
There are two techniques that can be used to share files where the document creator has a higher version of InDesign:
1) Customers with CS6 (specifically 8.1.0) or above, with access to Creative Cloud services, can use the Simple Saveback service which will allow them to open documents created by someone using a higher version of InDesign. There is some further information on this feature here:
